Microsoft IIS Web Server Configuration

This document describes how to configure the Microsoft IIS Web Server to require authentication using Raak smart card and token certificates.

Two models are described. For users that run Active Directory, IIS can be configured to use the native domain authentication by mapping the certificate to a specific domain user account. This model is the preferred method.

The second model allows for the configuration of the IIS server to authenticate certificates directly.
